Watch the new film Unlikely Duo with Majesty Athlete Eric Carter!
Majesty athlete Eric Carter and his ski partner Tom Peiffer come from two very different styles of skiing. Eric is an ex-competitive randonne racer while Tom competed on the Freeride World Tour. Now they’ve both found common ground skiing big mountain objectives on their home turf of Coastal British Columbia.
Unlikely Duo, released by our friends over at Arc’teryx, is a short film that follows their partnership in the 2022-2023 season, covering local days on the ski hill, to big mountains nearby, to an expedition to the Indian Himalaya!
What's the gear Eric uses in the film?
Eric’s skis of choice are the Majesty SuperNova Carbon. From our touring line, the SuperNova has a 105mm waist that handles deep powder on steep terrain. The traditionally cambered skis have cut off tail (COT) technology which allows for a shorter ski to be as agile as possible in the steeps.
