What is VLT?
Visible light transmission (VLT) refers to the amount of visible light that passes through a goggle lens. It is expressed as a percentage of the total amount of light that is incident on the lens.
The visible light transmission of ski goggles is an important factor in determining the amount of light that reaches the skier's eyes, which affects their visibility and comfort on the slopes. A higher visible light transmission results in clearer, brighter vision, while a lower visible light transmission helps reduce glare and improve contrast.
The Majesty goggles range features a variety of lenses designed to accommodate different weather conditions. Whether it's bright sun, overcast skies, or low-light conditions, there is a lens in the Majesty range to provide optimal visibility and protection.

The Majesty goggles collection offers a range of high-quality lenses for various weather conditions, each providing excellent visibility and protection. However, the standout lens in the collection is the FOTON™ lens, which boasts the unique ability to adapt to the current light conditions.
This means that skiers no longer need to carry multiple spare lenses, as the FOTON™ lens provides the perfect level of protection and clarity regardless of the weather.
The other special lens in our collection is the XENON™ lens. It is a high-contrast lens designed to provide excellent visibility in any weather conditions. From bright sun to overcast skies and even snowy conditions, the XENON lens offers a high level of contrast, which enhances the skier's ability to see clearly.
In addition to the XENON™ and FOTON™ lenses, the Majesty goggles collection offers several other high-quality lenses, each designed for specific weather conditions.
Most models of Majesty goggles, excluding the FOTON™, come equipped with two lenses: one for bright conditions and one for low light. The quick-change and magnetic systems make it easy for skiers to switch between lenses and ensure that they always have the right lens for the current weather conditions.
